Home tuition for Class 1 to 8
The early years are when a child decides whether they are “good at” a subject. A tutor at home can catch small gaps before they grow, at a pace that suits your child.
What a home tutor can help with
At this age, a tutor usually helps most with daily homework, reading and writing in both Nepali and English, and the basics of math. One tutor can often cover several subjects, so you do not need a different person for each one. When you post a requirement in the app, you can choose up to five subjects and ask for one tutor to cover them all.
What to look for
Look for patience and a clear way of explaining things as much as for qualifications. Ask how they would handle a child who has lost confidence in a subject, and how they will keep you informed. Younger children usually do better with shorter sessions, several times a week, than with one long one.

Common questions
Does my child need a tutor in primary school?
Not always. A tutor helps most when a child is falling behind in a subject, losing confidence, or when no one at home has time to help with schoolwork.
Can one tutor teach all subjects?
Often, yes, especially up to Class 5. Post a requirement with all the subjects you need, and tutors who can cover them can send you offers.
